Your schedule barely holds
Between work, caregiving, and the drive across town, an in-person hour can be the thing that quietly falls off. Meeting online removes the commute and makes it far easier to keep therapy consistent.
Secure virtual sessions for adults anywhere in the state, for anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout, and the quiet sense of being stuck. The same unhurried work, from wherever you are.
Online therapy is the same individual therapy I offer in South Austin, held over video instead of in the room. Fifty minutes, usually weekly to start, with the same pace and the same care. The only thing that changes is that you don't have to drive anywhere.
Before each session I'll send you a private link. At our time you click it and we're together, from your living room, a parked car on a lunch break, wherever you can find a quiet, private hour. There's nothing complicated to set up and no app to wrestle with.
Many people move fluidly between the two, meeting in person in South Austin when it's easy and online when life gets busy. You don't have to choose one forever; we'll do whatever keeps the work steady.
Sessions happen over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, not an ordinary consumer video call. What you share stays as confidential as it would sitting across from me in the office.
On your side, all you really need is a device with a camera, a steady internet connection, and a space where you won't be overheard. Headphones help, both for privacy and for keeping you present. If you're not sure your setup will work, we can sort it out together in the free consultation before anything begins.
If the connection ever drops or a private room isn't possible on a given day, we'll adapt, sometimes by phone, sometimes by finding another time. The work is more resilient than the technology.
You don't need a reason that fits a category. But these are some of the things that bring people to virtual sessions rather than in-person ones.

Good therapy isn't evenly distributed across Texas. If the right specialist isn't within driving distance of where you live, being anywhere in the state is enough to work together.
Chronic illness, limited mobility, a new baby, or a stretch where anxiety makes the world feel like a lot. Online sessions meet you where you already are.
If you're looking for somatic, ADHD-affirming, or integration-informed therapy in particular, online means you can choose the fit rather than settling for the nearest option.
Travel for work, a place in more than one Texas city, a season of change. As long as you're physically in Texas for the session, we can keep going without a gap.
Some people simply do their most honest work from their own space, with their own tea, their own dog at their feet. If that's you, that's a good reason on its own.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, and a therapist can only practice with clients who are physically in a state where the therapist is licensed. In plain terms: I can see you online anywhere in Texas, but only while you're actually in Texas at the time of the session.
For most people this never comes up. It's worth flagging if you travel often or split your time between states. If you're heading out of Texas for a stretch, we'll simply plan around it and pick back up when you're home. If you're moving to Texas, we can begin once you've arrived.
One more note: the talk-therapy side of my work moves online easily. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions themselves are held in person for safety, and are offered only to established clients, so that part of the work is never done virtually.
You'll receive a Texas Good Faith Estimate before we begin, so you always know what to expect. Online sessions are part of individual therapy, at the same fee, with no separate charge for meeting virtually.
Yes. I'm licensed in Texas and see clients online anywhere in the state, from Houston and Dallas to the Hill Country and West Texas. You just need to be physically located in Texas during our sessions.
A private space where you won't be interrupted, a reliable internet connection, and a laptop, tablet, or phone with a camera. Headphones help with privacy and focus. I'll send a secure link before each session; there's nothing complicated to install.
For most of what I work on, many people find virtual sessions just as grounded and useful as meeting in the room, and often easier to keep consistent. Consistency matters more than the medium. If in-person turns out to suit you better, we can talk about that too.
Because I'm licensed in Texas, I can only see you when you're physically in Texas at the time of the session. If you're traveling out of state, we'll plan around it and pick back up when you're home.
A free 20-minute consultation is the easiest first step, and it happens over video too. We'll talk about what's bringing you in and whether working together online feels like a fit, with zero pressure to commit.
$175 per 50-minute session, in person or online at the same fee. Out-of-network with superbills for possible reimbursement; a few sliding-scale spots open up when available.
