Individual therapy in Austin, in person and online across Texas

Talk therapy and body-based, somatic work for adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout, and the quiet feeling of being stuck.

What we can work on together

You don't need a diagnosis or the right words to begin. Most people come in simply knowing that something feels off. Here's some of what I help with most.

Anxiety & overwhelm

The racing mind, the tight chest, the sense that you're always bracing for the next thing. We slow it down and work out what your anxiety is trying to protect.

Trauma & its aftermath

Whether it's a single event or years of it, trauma can keep living in the body long after the moment has passed. We work gently and at your pace.

Depression & feeling stuck

The flatness, the fatigue, the loss of interest in things that used to matter. Together we look for what's underneath and what might help it shift.

Burnout

For the capable, responsible people who are quietly exhausted from holding it all together. We make room for rest and for a different way of carrying things.

Neurodivergence & ADHD

Support that works with your brain rather than against it, whether you're newly questioning or have known for years.

Life transitions

Relationships, identity, work, meaning. The in-between seasons where the old map no longer fits and the new one isn't drawn yet.

LGBTQ+ affirming care

Therapy where your identity is context, not the thing being examined. Minority stress, coming out at any age, family rupture, and the cost of never fully putting the watchfulness down.

Sex-positive & kink-friendly

Your relationship structure and your desires aren't the diagnosis. Affirming of polyamory and ethical non-monogamy, without asking you to justify any of it.

A talk-and-body approach

A lot of what keeps us stuck doesn't live only in our thoughts. It lives in the body too, in the bracing, the shutting down, the patterns that kick in before we've had a chance to think. So alongside talk therapy, I bring in somatic, body-based work that helps you notice those signals and gently work with them. I also draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), choosing what fits you rather than forcing you into one method.

That might look like paying attention to what happens in your body as we talk, slowing down in the moments that matter, and building a felt sense of safety rather than just an intellectual one. We always move at your pace.

For some clients, that work eventually includes ketamine-assisted psychotherapy or psychedelic integration. For many, it doesn't, and traditional therapy is the whole of our work. Both are completely valid.
